Bringing Dreams To Life

Posted by: | Comments (2)

To follow on from my last YIKpic,”Delicate Dreams” this one looks at one of the things needed to keep dreams alive. They need you to breathe life into them everyday – your life. It’s actually the sacred nectar that dreams need more than anything else to survive. You can breathe life into them by thinking about them, doing something to move towards making them real, talking to people about them. Anything really that revitalizes the dream within your heart and mind, that will do the trick ;) xxn

Chasing Ideas

Sometimes it feels like I’m chasing ideas that keep themselves just beyond my reach. If I wanted to capture them, I guess I need to think about them more consistently and in more detail – disciplined and focussed attention would do the trick.

Stretch

Sometimes, it’s really good to stretch…actually, that sometimes
means everyday. And I mean stretch in every sense of the word. Both physically stretching our bodies like doing yoga, and mentally
stretching our minds and creative capabilities. I haven’t mastered
the art of stretching myself in every way, every day, but I can see
the benefits of doing so.

Sometimes, I over stretch in some areas & atrophy in others, that’s
not very helpful to my whole health and well-being. But I guess I’m
getting closer to getting it figured out with every mistake along
the way:)

In this video, we look at how our creativity can help us achieve our own goals and have a significant impact on the lives of other people. I site an example of this from Kerwin Rae’s presentation at the Ultimate Success Summit 2010. Kerwin is the world’s number one expert on Influence and is the founder of Business Mastery International. During his presentation, Kerwin was engaging one of his most powerful creative gifts to achieve his own goals and make a significant impression on the 8000 people in the audience.

This video looks at how failure is an absolutely essential element to being successful in life. Sir Richard Branson is one of the most well known and successful entrepreneurs on the planet. In this video, I recount the story he told recently during a live presentation in Sydney. Sir Richard spoke about his own failures as he was just beginning his first business venture as a youth just out of school. The story is a great example of how failure didn’t deter one of the most successful entrepreneurs from succeeding in life.
